Apart from the well-known tourist attractions, almost every top retail store is represented in York, making this a particularly pleasant destination for shopping.

As you would expect from this very special hotel, each of the forty guest rooms has been designed with care and imagination.

We now operate a no smoking policy in our restaurant, adjacent lounges are located for your convenience.

For a lighter meal in an informal atmosphere, try Terrys Cafe-Conservatory. Fully licensed, it is open throughout the day until early evening.

Valet Parking Service

Simply drive up to the front door and reception will arrange for your luggage to be unloaded and for a porter to take your car for you. The hotel has its own secure car park. For those guests unfamiliar with York, arriving by car, we recommend approaching on the A19 from the North, along Bootham

Guests are welcome to check in earlier when luggage will be safely stored until the room is ready Check out time is 11.00am (1100hrs) but luggage can be safely stored, should guests wish to continue with their business, shopping or sightseeing after that time.
